Gear Pump Distributors (UK) Ltd (GPD UK) was established in April 2000 as a subsidiary of our manufacturing plant and foundry in South Africa. The objective was to supply the UK and European/Middle East markets with gear pump parts and complete units more efficiently, cutting down on shipping times and costs.

We understand that the average hydraulic repair facility today repairs numerous brand names and cannot always carry extensive stock. By carrying an extensive inventory of pumps, motors and spares in the UK, we are able to ship them overnight and supply parts and complete units within 24 hours of order from the UK.

In August 2015, GPM-US made the investment in a Supply Chain Warehouse located just south of Memphis, TN in Nesbit, MS.

We began filling the shelves with inventory to support our North and South American customer base and on April 1, 2016, we officially opened.

Establishing this supply chain warehouse has allowed our western customers to reduce their inventory dollars and the quicker ship time has given GPM-US a greater position in the market.
